ICSES
International Committee of Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability (ICSES)
In the face of escalating climate change, widening inequality, and economic instability, there is an urgent need for innovative approaches that align business, social equity, and environmental stewardship. Traditional models of growth have often prioritized short-term profit over long-term resilience, leaving communities vulnerable and ecosystems under pressure. Social entrepreneurship offers a transformative solution by combining business innovation with a strong commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and global equity. It empowers individuals and organizations to create enterprises that deliver both financial value and social-environmental impact.
To amplify this transformative potential, the Global Ambassadors of Sustainability (GAoS) and the Global Green Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) are jointly launching the International Committee of Social Entrepreneurship & Sustainability (ICSES)—a global platform that connects leaders, innovators, researchers, businesses, and youth to accelerate systemic change.
Vision Statement
To build a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable global economy through the power of social entrepreneurship, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration, bringing awareness to all segments of society, with a strong focus on youth. We envision a world where social enterprises lead the way in addressing environmental challenges, reducing inequality, and transforming communities, a world where both public and private sectors hand in hand establish a sustainable development guided by the principles of sustainability and global equity, supported by researchers inspired by the local and real needs of the society.
Mission Statement
To unite global leaders, changemakers, and institutions to accelerate social entrepreneurship as a catalyst for sustainable development, with strong engagement from public and private sector actors, academics, and researchers.
Objectives of ICSES
- Champion social entrepreneurs as key drivers of sustainable change across economies and ecosystems.
- Facilitate international collaboration between businesses, governments, academia, and civil society for scalable, systemic impact.
- Advance policy, research, and innovation that support inclusive, circular, and regenerative economies.
